Salvatore Ferragamo’s L’Icona Project

Last year I had the pleasure of being shot by the incredible Cedric Buchet as part of Ferragamo’s L’Icona project in Asia. The Varina flats and the Vara pumps are a rare fashion classic that we group alongside Chanel jackets and Hermes Birkins, so it was truly a privilege to be one of the Vara girls.

I requested to be shot at one of my favorite locations in Hong Kong – Sevva. The decor perfectly accompanies the soft romantic vibe we were going for with the Varina color combination I chose, and of course the iconic Hong Kong skyline in the background. My hair and makeup were done by the amazing Marco Chan and Elaw Wong, magically transforming some dining tables into a mini beauty salon. And Cedric was a blast to work with, especially on such an early morning, giving great direction and capturing every shot with a handheld camera to capture a variety of angles.

The Vara and Varina shoes are available on to be customized in a number of colors of your choice and with initials engraved on the sole! I can’t think of anything more chic for the perfect daytime shoe.
