Phuket Weekends

Phuket is everyone’s favorite weekend destination (for those of us that live within a 4-hour flight radius that is). But often the most popular destinations lead to an overwhelming amount of choices, so here are my absolute must-visit spots for a weekend of fun and indulgence in Phuket.
Located on the southeastern part of the island, Sri Panwa is hands down my top choice when in Phuket. The most spectacular pink sunsets, incredible food and service, and villas with a 360 degree view of the ocean.

The Naka is fairly new to Phuket, and what drew me to it was the architecture of the villas Рglass boxes that seem to dangle over the Kamala cliffs precariously.

Villa Chi is a 3-bedroom full service, 2-story villa (with elevator) that’s perfect for a small group.

Paresa is an intimate resort high on the Kamala cliffs with breathtaking views. Best for a romantic getaway.

We can’t talk about Paresa without mentioning Villa Amanzi – the most stunning private villa in Phuket catered by Paresa, the top choice for a big group and wild times.

The only place I need to go when it comes to Phuket nights. Think a dark and intimate living room with delicious Thai food at dinner time, and when the clock strikes 10, beautiful drag queens emerge in sequins and feathers out of the blue, 100 shots fly out of the kitchen, bongo drummers, exotic dancers and singers, you name it, transform the space into an incredible heaven of pure fun and debauchery.

My girlfriends and my secret spot for the best home-style Thai food. Located in a shop house in town, it’s nothing fancy, but you’ll find dishes here beyond the typical Pad Thai, curries, salads that we see everywhere else. I literally have dreams about the coconut milk crab and vermicelli, tamarind shrimp, caramel pork belly…
